The thermal effect can significantly influence the consolidation of soil, especially in cold region. Previous studies have established to research that drops ambient temperature would slow down process, resulting dissipation excess pore water pressure. In addition, previous neglect final settlement because is also influenced by effect. this paper, a closed-form solution one-dimensional nonlinear soil considering proposed. mathematical framework, influences on compression index, permeability, and elastic modulus are considered. fully verified comparing it with FDM neglecting classic Terzaghi’s solution. An analysis has been carried out assess temperature, stress ratios, time, ratio index permeability interface parameters process.
